About Reclaimed Purpose
Reclaimed Purpose is a North Carolina nonprofit dedicated to helping men and women returning from incarceration rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and hope. Rooted in faith and lived experience, we provide structured support, mentorship, life-skills development, and connections to housing, employment, and community resources. Our work is more than reentry it’s restoration. We believe every person deserves a real second chance and a pathway to purpose.

Walking with people
Reclaimed Purpose helps by walking with people, not just referring them. We don’t hand someone a list and wish them luck we build real relationships and stay present through the hard parts. Our approach is rooted in faith, accountability, and love, offering structure without judgment.

Lived experience
What makes us unique is that our work comes from lived experience. We understand the fear, confusion, and barriers people face when they come home because we’ve walked those roads ourselves. We combine practical support like housing connections, job readiness, and life skills with emotional and spiritual restoration. We don’t just help people survive reentry we help them rediscover who they are and who they were created to be.

Positive change
When Reclaimed Purpose achieves its goals, we hope to see lives transformed from survival to stability. People returning from incarceration will have safe housing, steady work, healthy relationships, and the confidence to move forward with purpose instead of fear. We want to see individuals who once felt forgotten become leaders, parents, mentors, and contributors in their communities.
"Reclaimed Purpose is a place of real hope where people are not judged by their past, but seen for their potential."
A ministry of love, structure, and second chances where broken stories are met with compassion, accountability, and the belief that restoration is not only possible, but expected.
